Javascript and Cookie Policy: This site does not itself use Javascript (additional code downloaded to the web browser to provide extra functionality) or place 'cookies' (small text files which track usage on websites) on the devices from which it is is accessed. 2. Logging Policy: In order to be able to access this site, devices have to send it some information, so the site knows where and how to respond.
- The site logs each device's:
- IP address (location on the internet)
- User-agent (eg browser used, what type of device)
- Request method (eg GET or POST)
- Requested URL (eg which site page)
- Request date/time
The logs are analysed daily, semi-automatically, to monitor the site's operation, and to detect and block access to the site from IP addresses from which inappropriate requests have been made. The logs are deleted monthly; the list of blocked IP addresses is kept indefinitely.
